Tangle A Day Calendar, January 4 - 6th 2017

Hello friends

Today's share is a page from my 2017 Tangle A Day Calendar by Carol Ohl. I traced 3-1/2" tiles onto the page and treated them each as a tile with a string. I tried to make the numbers stand out a little more as well.

Zentangle Tile #102

Hello friends

Today I'd like to share my Zentangle Tile #102. I'm new to leaving white space ... I like the look, but it doesn't come easily to me.

These are some of my favourite tangles!

Zentangle Tile #101

Hello friends

Today I'd like to share my Zentangle Tile #101, which started with String #243 from TanglePatterns .com. I was inspired as soon as I saw the string!

Diply has quickly become a favourite, and I can't seem to get enough of Crescent Moon these days.

Zentangle Tile #100!!

Hello friends

Today I'm sharing my 100th Zentangle tile. I think that intimidated me for a long time, thinking that my 100th should be amazing and over the top. So I just didn't work on it. Yesterday I saw Adele Bruno's 'It's A String Thing #178' challenge and decided to just jump in and work on the tile.

It's neither amazing nor over the top, but it was great to be able to participate in one of Adele's challenges again, I learned two new tangles and remembered how much I like Zonked.  So I'm counting it as a success.

Tangle A Day Calendar, January 1 - 3, 2017

Hello friends

Even though I haven't completed my 2016 Tangle A Day Calendar, I decided to go ahead and start on the 2017 one.

Trying something different, as I really have missed doing tiles. I'm so out of practice!  I traced two tiles onto the calendar and incorporated the numbers into the design/string. It felt so good to be able to sit down and work on something. There are lots of new tangles - including a couple from Zentangle.com themselves - that I want to learn too.

Remember to click on the image if you wish to see it larger.

Happy New Year, everyone!

Tangle a Day Calendar 2016, March 19th, 20th and 21st

Hello friends

Oh, how I have missed tangling. I am going to have to figure out some kind of a routine where I can add Zentangle back into my days. Meanwhile, I have calendar pages to share here.

I am really liking Barullo - although for me it's a high-focus tangle until it's completely joined. I can mess it up so quickly!

Tangle a Day Calendar 2016, March 16th, 17th and 18th

Hello friends

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday! I got to open my 2017 Tangle a Day Calendar, it was under the tree with a tag that said To: ME, From: ME. Ha!

Today's share is a page where I just wanted to play with MI2 - it looks so different when you change up the size. On this example I think the clean and simple one is my favourite. Some people have a great way with MI2 and I really enjoy looking at their work. I don't have the same flow in mine but maybe that will come with practice.
